Keep those Thursdays marked on through the Spring as CHAMPION BREWING RVA and SLIMEHOLE PRODUCTIONS crank it up a notch and in addition to the upcoming larger productions, we're honing in on new and interesting acts and sounds to fit in with our updated soundproofing, additional entertainment options, diverse and incredible art and sounds, some of RVA and beyond's favorite music AND of course some mouthwatering beers!
On the 22nd of March, and the 33rd installment of the FREE MUSIC THURSDAY we're happy to continue further into heavy music territory much like the flagship locale is known for with this to be reflected in several of our upcoming gigs including this one! RVA's own VULCANITE bring the loud and abrasive yet catchy sounds somewhere between heavy rock and roll, noise rock and post-hardcore. They'll be joined by the first Champion RVA appearance of a band from our neighbors to the North, Fredricksburg, with the pummeling dc post-hc influenced assault of TORINO DEATH RIDE (ex-Gangland Buries It's Own) and rounding out the lineup will be the untouchable PAINT STORE, some of RVA's finest musicians playing instrumental jazz/metal influenced math-rock. Get ready for more heavy shows coming at BOTH Champion Brewing Company locations and keep on supporting independent art, music, food and beer!
