Amazing breweries from Southern California + v Tørst
We have one more trick up our collective sleeves for this, our last event of NYC beer week. If you've been to the bar at any point in the last few weeks you know what I'm talking about.
On Thursday, March 1st we will be hosting a group of very exciting breweries from Southern California, and one amazing local brewery with a few ties to Cali.
Without further ado, we will be hosting the following breweries:
Pure Project Brewing from San Diego
Mumford Brewing from Los Angeles
Noble Ale Works from Anaheim
Casa Agria Specialty Ales from Oxnard
Kings County Brewers Collective from Bushwick...Brooklyn, yo!
And these guys have sent some serious west coast bangers. They definitely know their way around the old IPA out there - NE style or otherwise - but as this list will convey, they are definitely making some amazing beers up and down the beery spectrum. We can't wait to share these with everyone. It's going to be a blast.
Hopefully, this has you curious about what beers we'll be pouring! Fair enough, here goes:
La Triada / 7.2% ABV / Oud Bruin / Casa Agria
Sour brown aged in fresh red wine barrels and refermented on cabernet sauvignon grape skins
Rolling Blackout / 7.6% ABV / Stout / Mumford Brewing
Attack of Panic / 8.5% ABV / NEIPA / Mumford Brewing
IPA brewed with lactose, Amarillo, and Citra hops. (#apparentlyigiveanfaboutoxfordcommas)
Meet Local Singles / 6.9% ABV / NEIPA / Noble Ale Works
Single IPA with Nelson and Citra hops.
Murk / 6.8% ABV / IPA / Pure Project
A full bodied IPA brewed with a rotating selection of hops
Murklands / 5.5% ABV / APA / Pure Project
Brewed with organic rye and a rotating selection of hops
Sensai / 5.2% ABV / Kölsch / Pure Project
Brewed with flaked rice, Kölsch yeast, and German Hallertau hops
La Vie En Rose / 6.5% ABV / Saison / Pure Project
Traditional saison base with locally sourced orange blossom honey,, organic hibiscus flowers, and wild grains of paradise from Morocco.
Holy Molé / 9.5% ABV / Imperial Stout / KCBC
Imperial Mexican chocolate stout with light cinnamon and vanilla (word on the street is that it's the only keg to find it's way outside their taproom)
Into the Machine / 8.7% ABV / Sour / KCBC
A mixed fermentation Belgian Dubbel aged in red wine barrels with cranberries.
As always, if there are any changes prior to the event, we'll be sure to post them here. But the above is what we plan on pouring.
We are very excited to host some great brewers from the left coast on Thursday...and our good pals from Kings County Brewers Collective of course, so come out and party one more time...you know you wanna.
Cheers!
