Former musical director for Dave Koz, keyboard player Brian Simpson is a regular at PizzaExpress Live, having shared the stage here with Paul Brown and Marc Antoine as well. Simpson’s performance is packed with bluesy overtones, R’n’B flavour and soulful grooves. He has toured with pop names such as Sheena Easton, Janet Jackson and Teena Marie, as well as prolific jazz musicians such as George Duke, Stanley Clarke and Gerald Albright.
Theses shows will be Brian's third set of solo performances in London. He has a great understanding that melody and groove are all important, and his energetic shows are a big hit.
Playing with Brian will be Julian Crampton on Bass, Mark Jaimes on Guitar and Jack Pollitt on Drums.
