This year there is a special focus on collaboration between restaurants and local producers. For example, Popoli will feature a flank steak rubbed in coffee blended by their new neighbors, Dash Coffee Roasters. Lu's Deli will drizzle CR Whiskey Sauce's Honey Bourbon Siracha sauce on a roast beef and swiss sandwich then pair it with Iowa Brewing Co beer cheese soup.
Diners will be encouraged to vote at CRrestaurantweek.com for their favorite Restaurant Week dish for the chance to win VIP tickets to the 3nd Annual Dinner of Champions on March 29.
