Circle of Time Exhibition v The Dugdale Centre
Go back one or two generations and the same things which happened then are happening again now. Wars, famine, natural disasters, and how the media deals with it. We never seem to learn from history, and to the new generation everything happening now is all a shock. Where as to older generations, this has all happened before. 'Circle of Time' explores this idea.
About the Artist
I have just finished my University Degree in Fine Art, and I have had some interesting conversations with some of my tutors half my age, who knew their art history, where as they had no idea of what happened just twenty years ago in this country - The coalminers strike or the three day weeketc. Some of my paintings are nearly 2m x 2m and I would like to think they are the largest paintings ever shown at the Dugdale Centre. I have entered one or two paintings in the Malls Galleries Art Competition, and one of my Oil Paintings - Title Harry and Beth, is on display at the Camden Working Mens College, as I am Alumin I get invited to display work there.
