Diary Days 4-Year Anniversary - Shoreditch v The Book Club
A lot of newcomers asking us whether this is a dating event. Ummmmm.... No, it is not - it is for everybody!
“I wasn’t allowed to go to Fitch’s party today coz I got grounded. My dad thinks I’m seeing too much of the guys + it’s affecting my schoolwork so I’m not allowed to see them outside school. He also thinks I have been groping them! Dad has got the flu. His temperature is 110. I hope he dies.” ( Taken from “Cringe” by Sarah Brown).
Diary Days has become one of London’s funniest cult nights out! After the huge sell-out success of “Diary Days” over the past 4 AMAZING years, we’re super excited to announce that Diary Days is back on the 14th of November!
It’s your chance to laugh at yourself and others as we read out our most cringe-worthy entries from our past whilst having a few drinks.
If you can’t find your old diary, bring your old travel diary, love letters, report card, Christmas list, detention note or even an old group email you sent to friends and family before social media took off. It is really starting to become a bit of an “open mic” and release for a lot of people. Either way, it’s a great chance to do something completely unique, so we can’t encourage you enough to get involved.
If you feel that reading is too much for your first visit (although it is incredibly addictive) – feel free just to come and watch or be there for moral support if you’d prefer.
Tickets will sell incredibly fast!
In terms of press, we have been mentioned in various publications including Metro, BBC woman’s hour and The Guardian to name a few.
