The Guns N' Roses/Metallica Stadium Tour was a co-headlining concert tour by American rock bands Guns N' Roses and Metallica during 1992. It took place in the middle of Guns N' Roses' "Use Your Illusion Tour," promoting their Use Your Illusion I & II albums, and between Metallica's "Wherever We May Roam Tour" and "Nowhere Else to Roam," promoting their eponymous fifth album Metallica (The Black Album).
The tour's opening act was Faith No More.
It ran from July to October 1992.
Abuse Your Illusion (Guns N' Roses tribute), Whiplash (Metallica tribute) & From out of Somewhere (Faith no More tribute) have decided to get together to mark the 25th anniversary of this epic tour and performed a special show in October 2017. The feedback was overwhelming and demands flooded in to take the show on the road.
The tour will hit the Button Factory in Dublin on the 7th of July 2018 for a full night of head banging mayhem.
Faith No more tribute, From Out of Somewhere will kick the evening off and be followed by full sets from both Metallica & Guns N Roses tributes, Whiplash and Abuse Your Illusion.
The evening will be rounded out by none other than Club Hell's DJ Helmut spinning out the rock/metal tunage until 3am!
Doors at 7:30pm and it's only €17.50 admission
