With a penchant for vivid storytelling, Josh Walker combines the emotions of everyday life with the musical spirit of his native Virginia. This shines through in his debut album, From an Empty Living Room, where listeners will find a mix of heartbreaking folk, humorous blues rock, and witty pop.
That he even boasts a single recording, much less a full-length album, still sometimes surprises Josh, as the beginning of his musical career was something of a happy accident. While out celebrating the completion of his master’s degree in history, he struck up a conversation with the musicians playing at the bar that evening. By the end of the night, Josh was in front of a microphone with a guitar in his hands. He hasn’t looked back since.
In support of Living Room, Josh hit the highway for a summer tour that took him from the Appalachians to the Rockies. Now living in Denver, Colorado, he is busy crafting new songs for his next recording project, booking local shows, and planning his next tour.
