Som navnet antyder er den Brooklyn-bosatte singer/songwriter datter af vokalgeniet Bobby McFerrin og hun har på mange måder taget hans musikalske stil til sig. Alene på scenen står hun udelukkende med sin vokal og en loop-pedal, og bygger langsomt numrene op, hvor hun skaber en catchy blanding af soul, pop, R&B og jazz.

På trods af, at hun kun har to korte EP'er bag sig er The New York Times, Pitchfork og Gilles Peterson allerede erklærede fans. Peterson præsenterede hendes sang "No Time to Lose" via sit label Brownswood Recordings tilbage i april 2017, Pitchfork har booket hende til deres to festivaler OctFest i New York og Pitchfork Music Festival Paris og New York Times har omtalt, at hendes debut-EP 'Finding Foundations: Vol. 1', "shows wonderful vocal dexterity, deftly swerving from sharp, clearly enunciated staccato bursts to fluttery, free-form melismata".

As the name indicates the Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter is the daughter of the vocal genius Bobby McFerrin and in many ways she has been inspired by his musical style. Alone on stage she performs with only her voice and a loop pedal and slowly build up her songs and creates a catchy mix of soul, pop, R&B and jazz.

Despite that she only has released two short EP's, The New York Times, Pitchfork and Gilles Peterson are already pronounced fans. The Polish producer creates a smooth mix between instrumental hiphop, soul and jazz with delicate samples, acoustic instruments and synthesizers. During the last three years the productive beatmaker has released four albums while finishing his education at the conservatory in Copenhagen. The last album - "Syd" - was released October 10th so expect some brand new tunes and laid-back beats!
