With an epic 10 piece live show featuring a 4 piece horn section, 2 vocalists, electronics and an international rhythm section, Nubiyan Twist performances are unforgettable experiences.
Skirting between Afrobeat, neo-soul, hip-hop and jazz with seamless virtuosity, they draw on myriad influences ranging from Erykah Badu’s to Fela Kuti to J Dilla and Nat King Cole. They’ve performed alongside some of the hottest acts (Submotion Orchestra, De La Soul, Robert Glasper, Hot 8 Brass Band and Quantic to name a few) and have rocked festival stages from Fusion to Wilderness, Boomtown and Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival.
After a series of singles, EPs and the debut album releases on Wormfood Records, they've now linked up with one of the most respected deep music labels around, Strut Records of London and are set to drop their new album "Jungle Run" in February 2019 - Expect some jaw-dropping moments at their live show this November as they play fresh, unreleased material ????????????
