White Lie @Lakehouse Moonlightbreakfast v Mein Haus am See
White Lie hails from Sweden but started DJing in Berlin late 2014, by true coincidence. What started out as an experiment and a cheeky way to poke fun at Berlin's male-dominated and very serious techno scene, quickly took a 180 when she started to collect records, throw parties, and get a deeperr understanding of DJ culture and underground dance music.
Now she plays sets in a wide range of sounds: from disco to soul, jazz to house, via broken beat and hiphop. Always trusting her guts, driven by impulse and the atmosphere in the room.
She’s doing quest shows for Rinse France, Hotel Radio Paris, Le Mellotron, and Cashmere Radio - and has been DJing alongside Steve Spacek, soulsinger Misumami, and MC Black Prez - proving the diversity in taste and style.
Determined to keep it bright and soulful she’s been playing recent gigs in Paris, Stockholm, and “all over the place” in her homebase Berlin.
