Known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, simply 6ix9ine, and several alternate stylizations thereof, 6ix9ine is a rapper with a hyper-aggressive, full-throated approach to delivering oft-violent rhymes.
A native of Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood, the Scumgang member developed a following on Soundcloud and made his commercial breakthrough in "GUMMO," his first widely distributed single, entered the Billboard Hot 100. Follow-up "KOODA" arrived at the end of the year, at which point 6ix9ine had also recorded with the likes of Fetty Wap, Aboogie, Trippie Redd, Famous Dex, and more.
