Charity of the Day for Nicaraguan Beekeepers v The Oregon Public House
Come join us at The Oregon Public House in drink, food, and cheer! We are raising money for the cooperative of beekeepers that I helped to establish back in 2013 when I lived in Nicaragua. Our cooperative started with 12 community members from I’m 4 separate communities, and has since grown to over 50 members! This is easily the coolest thing that I have been a part of, and I want to share it with you.
Charity of the Day is an awesome resource provided by The Oregon Public House. Between 5% and 15% of the days proceeds at the pub downstairs will go directly to our beekeepers, while all of the proceeds made from the raffle and the bar upstairs will go to the beekeepers!
Plans are still in the making, but here's what we have so far:
