England V Panama, Sunday lunch + Pub Quiz in v 10 Devonshire Place
For England's second fixture, they face World Cup debutantes Panama. After this game they will be playing Belgium, which is a game they won't, ideally, want to NEED to win, so a confident three points is really the bare minimum you would expect England to take from this match. Accordingly we invite you to come to 10 Devonshire Place and watch a horribly tense nervy 90 minutes where England are lucky to scrape through with one point.
We will be showing all the England games, all the way through to the point where they go out on penalties, and will be bringing in guest beers, wines & spirits from countries around the world who have made it to the finals, to our popular Harrogate Independent Pub.
We will have Japanese Whiskey, great beers from Belgium, Icelandic whale infused larger (maybe, maybe not), and perhaps even a vodka from Russia, in the unlikely event that Russia relaxes its awful stance on... a great many things.
We will have food available for the games, but if you'd like to book a party in with reserved seating and food arranged, please let us know!
