Enoch’s Hammer play traditional style music for traditional style (ceilidh/barn dance/country) dancing. Jigs, reels, polkas, waltzes, hornpipes etc, whatever the dance needs. With a repertoire accumulated from numerous questionable and diverse sources over the past 22 years, we pride ourselves on having a unique sound which is often eclectic, sometimes surprising, but always fun. Line up is usually accordion, trombone, guitar/banjo and percussion. The music is mainly English, although there’s a healthy balance of European tunes to maintain an international perspective, and to keep the dancers guessing where that one came from!
