Folkworks Adult Summer School 2018 v Sage Gateshead
Folkworks Adult Summer School is a full on week of folk music, song and dance. With world class tuition on Main Instrument and Ensemble, sessions, ceilidhs, sing-arounds and concerts. Each day you will learn in Main Instrument, Ensemble and Options classes with lots of opportunities to wind down in the evening with social activities and sessions across the college.
Adult Summer School is a perfect way to get involved with folk music, whatever your level. We ask that instrumentalists have a basic understanding of their instrument (contact us if you are unsure) and you do not need to be able to read music or learn it by ear.
The summer school is based in St Aidan’s College, with en-suite accommodation available at Grey College. Non-residential participants are also welcome and can choose whether to receive food as part of their ticket price or bring their own each day.
