In The Gut is a funny, tragic and ridiculous show about pregnancy, parenting and growing up. Les Femmes Ridicule present an array of colourful characters, like the intimate baking and birthing tv chefs, the smug mothers who insist that they really do know it all, and the barmy historians imparting their knowledge and many more! Audiences are taken on a rollercoaster of emotions at this unforgettable ante-natal banquet.
Les Femmes Ridicule play with their audience from beginning to end, walking a fine line between comedy and tragedy. The charming and grotesque duo tackle some of life’s unspoken paranoia and taboos in a hilarious and disturbing way!
