JT Wise Band v The White Eagle
Join us every last Friday of the month from 4-6pm for happy hour. If you don't like staying up late, this is the perfect time. Bring family and friends for this all age show to hear rollicking and original americana, rock and blues with some covers from the likes of the Grateful Dead, Lucinda Williams, and Buddy Miller/Jim Lauderdale. The band has been known to stretch out on a song in the tradition of the great jam bands taking a song where it will go. Fred Ingram from the New iberians will be playing drums with us every last Friday of the month in 2018. Our regular drummer Ken has a work conflict, but will make most other shows.
The White Eagle is a legendary music bar. Just ask JT about his history there in the 1970's with Some Mighty Good Eatin. He will probably point out the vintage hippy posters of this popular band hanging throughout! They often shared shows with the Rounders. Jon Layne from SMGE fame often sits in.
