Frank Turner just announced his Be More Kind World Tour 2018 and for his Red Rocks date – Lucero will co-headline.
The Be More Kind World Tour will begin in the UK in April and head to North America on May 31, with its first leg playing to over 200,000 people across the UK, the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, taking them through to Christmas. Turner is an English folk singer – songwriter. He began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead, and then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005. In the studio and during live performances, Turner is accompanied by his backing band, The Sleeping Souls, which consists of Ben Lloyd (guitar, mandolin), Tarrant Anderson (bass), Matt Nasir (piano, mandolin) and Nigel Powell (drums).
Lucero is an American country-punk rock band based in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Lucero's sound has been described as a "synthesis of soul, rock, and country that is distinctly Memphisian."
