Philip Bischoff, Manhattan (#1 bar in Asia, #7 bar in the world) Bar Manager is coming to Grain for the 'Friends of Manhattan' series.
Philip and Cedric (bartender) will be behind Grain's bar for a once-in-a-lifetime Industry masterclass where Philip will share his knowledge, tips, tricks and learning's along the way.
Born in Berlin, Germany, Bischoff’s first foray into bartending began eleven years ago at the age of twenty three, when he first honed his craft by making drinks for friends at home parties, at catering events and eventually going behind the bar at nightclubs.
At the age of twenty five, Bischoff was turning out cocktails at Le Lion –Bar de Paris, which was awarded the ‘Best New International Bar at Tales of the Cocktail’. His career then took him to Amano Bar as the Bar Manager and under his stewardship, the bar was awarded the ‘Best Hotel Bar and Bar Team’ at the Mixology Bar Awards in Berlin.\
