Mens-Only Beginner Swing Workshop v The Sanctuary Studio
Swingin' Denver is excited to announce a new beginner swing dance workshop for men. In this workshop, men will learn to both lead and follow 6-count / East Coast Swing and Charleston. By the workshop's end, students will have learned different swing rhythms, basic patterns, fun turns, and more!
Who It's For:
This workshop is for people that identify as male or are male-presenting, including those in the LGBTQ community.
If you meet the above description and have never swing danced before and want to try, this workshop is for you. If you meet the above description and you've swing danced before only in one role (leader or follower) and want to learn another role as a beginner, this workshop is also for you.
Where: Sanctuary Studio at 125 S Sherman St Denver CO 80209
When: Saturday, April 7, 12-3pm
How Much: $30 pre-registered, $40 at the door.
Your teachers will be Jonathan Jacobs and Kenny Nelson. Jonathan is relatively new to Denver and is a great dancer and instructor via Madison, Wisconsin and Montpellier, France. Kenny runs Swingin' Denver and has taught swing dancing all over the world. They're both excited to teach this new type of workshop!
