Mutual Benefit + Nighttime (at The Exchange) v Colston Hall
Brooklyn multi-instrumentalist Jordan Lee AKA Mutual Benefit stunned the music world in 2013 with his debut album Love’s Crushing Diamond – a “lush, expansive collection of moving, baroque, synth-driven folk songs” (Consequence of Sound). Back in Bristol, and performing new material and tracks from both acclaimed albums, Lee’s richly textured sound is “utterly beautiful, like glittering light on a river” (musicOMH).
“It’s the sort of album that makes you want to buy better headphones to make sure you’re not missing anything when you listen to it.” (Popmatters, Skip a Sinking Stone)
