Pages, Pedals & a Pint Tour v Birdsong Brewing Co.
Join us and our pals at Birdsong Brewing Co. as we co-host round 2 of our Pages, Pedals & a Pint Tour! From now through the end of the school year, Bikin’ Dads Adventures will be co-hosting this tour across several areas with our efforts aimed at collecting new or gently used Kids Bikes & Books. Monetary donations will also be accepted, plus our pals will be donating a $1 of every pint sold during the time frame listed during the event to dedicate to this effort.
This is part of a new segment by the crew, titled, “Tools for Adventure”, in which we firmly believe that both Bikes & Books can be used to take us and area youth on the most epic journeys, be it physically or imaginatively.
There will be food trucks, corn-hole, larger than life jenga & possibly our mini-bike course to test out your awesomeness! So bring your family & friends, grab a pint or two, play some games and be rad, with the Bikin’ Dads crew.
A What & a Why answered…
This is new collaborative effort to provide both books and bikes to area youth in Cabarrus, Mecklenburg & Gaston Counties. By teaming up with local gov’t entities and more, our aim is to collect bikes, books & hopefully helmets to provide to area youth.
Why, you ask, as the school year ends, youth sometimes become less active mentally and physically and our aim is to keep them going by providing these “Tools for Adventure”!
BD Adventures legally named, but you all know us as, Bikin’ Dads Adventures in which we are a 501(c)3 program, aimed at working with area fathers and youth, in “building stronger relationships one adventure at a time”.
