it's an extreme honor and the utmost pleasure to host these heroes of canadian punk rock! 35+ years running and never lifting the foot off the throttle! 15+ full lengths, countless tours and most importantly ... consistently current! Paul's always had his finger on the pulse of this country and used Ripcordz as a vehicle to constantly challenge the social, economical and political norms (or abnormality's if you will) while at the same time fostering a webbed community of inclusivity and acceptance. felt especially strong between the montreal - ottawa - spiderland - toronto circuit which i got to experience many times during the bands rigorous mid to late 90s run. punk rock, pure, powerful, fun, informative and 100% homegrown! much love to Matt at Rampant Slime for putting in the work that made this entire tour possible and bringing us on board with it <3
