Celebrate Women’s History Month! Please join MetroWines, Mutual Distribution and Chef George Delidimos for “History in the Making: A Celebration of Women Winemakers Across the Globe” on Wednesday, March 28th from 6 to 9pm at Golden Fleece in Asheville.
“The evening celebrates women who worked their way up to be winemaker,” says Gina Trippi, co-owner of MetroWines. “These women winemakers were not born to the job, some started sweeping the winery floor!”
Chef George Delidimos will create an original four course menu to honor these winemakers. Juniper Cooper of Mutual Distribution will tell us the story of the winemaker behind the wine paired with each dish. Wines featured will be from Argentina, Spain, Italy and California.
Reservations must be made in advance and are $65 per guest (tax & gratuity not included). Please call the restaurant directly at (828)-424-7655 to reserve.
Due to the growing popularity of our wine dinners and limited availability we will be requiring credit cards (placed into our secure vault) for every reservation.
*Any cancellations or changes to your reservation must be made by March 25th at 8:00pm. Reservation cancellations or no shows after March 25th at 8:00PM will be subject to the full $65 per person charge for their party.
