Alternative-pop band formed in 2013 currently working on their debut album (while still being unsigned) citing The Police, Prefab Sprout, Crowded House, Coldplay and The Beatles as influences. They're huge fans of James Blake, Foals, The National and Frank Ocean. The name Lake Malawi comes from Calgary, a Bon Iver song that changed the front man's life. Albert Černý (lead vocal), Jeroným Šubrt (bass and keys), Patrick Karpentski (guitars) & Antonín Hrabal (drums) divide their time between Prague & North London.
