After a short break we are back with a new string to our bow. It seems our clandestine efforts last year gained us enough notoriety to be presented with some amazing opportunities. One such outing we could not refuse came in the form of programming a Saturday night at our favourite East End basement: The Nest.
This is by no means the end of our covert operations, more a chance for us to broaden our horizons and at the same time enable us to book some of our favourite international artists.
Speaking of which our first headliner comes in the form of Berlin based tastemaker: Cinthie. As well being instrumental in the running of revered vinyl only labels Beste Modus and Unison Wax, she holds a residency at Watergate, one of Berlin's most eminent spots. With years of experience behind a set of turntables her trademark style of underground house manages to be both infectious and cutting edge alike. A rare London performance; an artist consistently on top of her game.
Next up we have Alternate Facts resident skippers Dexter Kane and Thoma Bulwer. Despite being artists and label bosses in their own right, it's clear to see they relish their back to back performances. Alongside their usual groove-led brand of minimal house, expect the crew to be road testing plenty of new material from the forthcoming Alternate Facts 12", as well as fresh cuts from their individual imprints Parasol Culture and Shadow Sanctuary.
To complete our line up we welcome local hero DJ Anna Wall Known for her record label The Bricks, residency at Number 90 and radio show on KMAH, one of Anna's sublime, journeying sets will be the perfect way to kick-start the evening.
