Well over 20 years after the fact and jungle is as pervasive in club culture as ever, with the unmistakable sound of chopped up amen breaks infecting ever more styles of music. Ultimately though it’s all about the original selectors who helped steer the shockwaves when the sound first hit UK clubs in the early 90s, and Jungle Jam provides the perfect opportunity to lose it to scene veterans with the knowledge and more importantly the records to deliver a truly authentic jungle experience. The legends stack out the line-up in the Marble Factory from top to bottom – London based champions Congo Natty, Randall and Benny Page through to Bristol’s finest, Ruffeck Ting head Dazee.
