Polar Plunge - Uptown Brewligans v The Herkimer Pub & Brewery
Greetings fellow Herkinerds -
The time has come again for all of us to face the freezing cold and jump into the icy depths of Lake Calhoun. Why would we do such a thing you ask? Well, for the Special Olympics of course. We are raising money through The Herkimer for our Polar Plunge team. All donations benefit the Special Olympics of Minnesota.
What about the sweet beards Marshall and Michael have been growing? Two of our bearded fellas have been growing out their beards for six months just for this. The day of the plunge they will be outside taking in last minute donations for anyone willing to shave those glorious things off their faces. All of these donations will be going directly to their Polar Plunge donation pot.
We will have buses running back and forth to the plunge site all day long. Come here, have some food, maybe a boozy coffee and let us take care of the rest.
We are freezin' for a reason and we could not be more excited to be a part of the day.
